4. Service Description

Smailor is a shared inbox and customer email infrastructure service. It enables businesses and teams to receive, route, and reply to customer email using their own custom domains.

Core features include: shared inboxes, team assignment, routing rules, email templates, optional AI triage, custom domain email (inbound/outbound), and a REST API.

Use of the service is subject to our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.


5. Technical Standards & Email Authentication

Smailor operates a standards-compliant email infrastructure:

  • SPF — outbound mail uses SPF-delegated sending for your custom domain
  • DKIM — all outbound mail is signed with RSA-2048 DKIM keys
  • DMARC — DMARC enforcement is supported and encouraged for all custom domains
  • TLS — all web traffic uses TLS 1.2+; SMTP delivery uses STARTTLS
  • BIMI — Brand Indicators for Message Identification are supported for verified domains

6. Personal Data and Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and applicable French data protection law (Loi Informatique et Libertés).

7. Intellectual Property

All content available on smailor.com (including text, graphics, logos, software, and design) is protected by applicable intellectual property laws and remains the property of Victor ANDRE EI or its licensors.

Customer content (emails, templates, contacts) remains the property of the customer. Smailor is granted a limited license to process and store it solely for the purpose of providing the service. See Terms of Service §5 for details.

Reproduction, distribution, or modification of Smailor's proprietary content without prior written authorization is prohibited.


8. Limitation of Liability

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and availability of the service. However, to the extent permitted by law, Smailor shall not be held liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service
  • Interruptions or unavailability of the service beyond our reasonable control
  • Loss of data due to force majeure events or user error

Limitation of liability is governed in full by Terms of Service §10.
