SMS in the same conversation as the email.
Smailor Telecom is a separate monthly service on your Smailor workspace. It adds SMS to the inbox you already answer from, with a number of SMS parts included every month and no credit to buy.
A free Smailor account is enough to add Telecom. There is no separate SMS login.

What teams send.
Confirm an appointment
Send the confirmation as an SMS and keep it in the same conversation as the email thread it came from.
Warn about something urgent
A delivery that slipped, a service interruption, a payment that failed: the message that cannot wait for an inbox to be opened.
Follow up a quiet thread
One SMS on a conversation that went silent, written by the same person who answered the email.
Plans, by monthly SMS parts.
Telecom is billed on its own, beside your email plan. The parts reset every 30 days and do not roll over. A message that does not fit the parts you have left is refused instead of charged as an extra.

Prices exclude VAT. Payments are processed by Mollie. Your business identity is checked before the first message, and a plan starts once the payment is confirmed.
Where you can send.
Prices per SMS part, excluding VAT. A number in a country that is not listed is refused before anything is charged, and you can ask for that country from your SMS settings.

The rules, before you buy.
SMS is the channel people complain about, so its limits are part of the product rather than a paragraph in the Terms.
- Your business is checked first
- Telecom needs a verified business identity before the first message leaves. Operators hold the sender names, so a name that was not approved cannot be used.
- Marketing needs prior SMS permission
- Smailor applies that to business recipients too, not only consumers. Accepting the Terms or an email opt-in is not SMS permission.
- STOP is handled and kept
- Marketing messages to France carry the opt-out line. A number that opted out is suppressed for your workspace and cannot be reimported.
- Quiet hours are Smailor policy
- Marketing to France is held between 21:30 and 08:00, on Sundays and on public holidays, then released. Transactional messages are not delayed.
- Counted by part, on acceptance
- A message is counted in parts of 160 characters, 70 with accents or emoji, plus the opt-out line where it applies. The count happens when the operator accepts the message, so a later failed receipt does not give the part back.
- No delivery promise
- Smailor shows what was accepted, what was refused and why. No provider can guarantee that a handset rings.
The full text, including how long message content is kept, is in the Terms and the Privacy Policy.
