Smailor and Google Workspace
Google Workspace gives each person a Gmail mailbox, plus Docs, Drive, Meet and Calendar, billed per user. Smailor does one thing: the addresses a team shares with customers, such as contact@ and support@.
Many teams use both: Workspace for personal mail and documents, Smailor for the addresses customers write to.

Keep Workspace, add Smailor for one address
You do not have to move your domain. Smailor can connect to an existing Gmail mailbox such as contact@ with an app password, copy new mail into the shared inbox, and send replies through Gmail from the same address. Nothing is deleted in Gmail and no DNS record changes.
If you would rather receive the shared address directly in Smailor, use a subdomain such as help.yourdomain.com and leave the main domain on Workspace.
When Workspace alone is enough
If what you need is a mailbox, documents and video calls for each employee, Workspace is the tool, and Smailor does not replace it. Smailor helps once several people answer the same customer address.

- Can I use Smailor without leaving Google Workspace?
- Yes. Connect the shared Gmail mailbox with an app password, or point a subdomain at Smailor. Personal mailboxes stay in Workspace.
- Is Smailor cheaper than Google Workspace?
- They are priced differently. Workspace bills every user. Smailor is billed per account, not per person: Free covers 3 people, Starter 6 people for €3.99 a month, Pro 16 people for €9.99, and Business 50 people for €31.99, then €0.99 per extra person.
- Does Smailor replace Gmail for my whole team?
- No. Smailor is for shared customer addresses. For one private mailbox per person, keep Gmail, Proton or Zoho.
What Smailor costs
Smailor is billed per account, not per person. Free covers 3 people. Solo is €19.90 a year for 2 people. Starter is €3.99 a month for 6 people, Pro €9.99 for 16 people, Business €31.99 for 50 people, then €0.99 a month for each further person.
Incoming mail and replies never count. Each plan includes a number of new conversations you start each month (100 on Free, 20,000 on Business). Past that, a pack adds 1,000 for €2.39 a month, on any plan. VAT does not apply, so the price shown is the price charged.
